John A. Stringfield, Managing Partner
John Stringfield is the founder of Stringfield & Associates, LLC. He manages all operations of the firm and supervises a group of attorneys, consultants and other professionals in the delivery of exceptional services to the firm’s clients.
Mr. Stringfield is an experienced business advisor, and acts as general counsel to emerging and mid-stage companies, providing strategic advice as well as guidance regarding corporate law, contracts, tax, intellectual property protection, financing, and labor & employment law.
He is also a highly skilled transactional attorney that can handle mergers and acquisitions, stock and asset purchases, recapitalizations and other corporate reorganizations, venture capital investments, as well as other financial and operational transactions.
He advises clients in succession planning, particularly focusing on the financial, operational, legal and interpersonal issues involved in any transfer of wealth. He can design and implement succession plans for small to medium sized businesses as well as individuals and families.
John also handles a number of other matters on a case-by-case basis.

Prior to becoming a licensed attorney John had extensive experience in leadership and management as a Captain serving with the only remaining Armored Cavalry unit in the U.S. Army. After his military service, he became Director of Business Development for one of the Nation’s largest developers where he managed P&L, developed multi-million dollar financial pro-formas to be implemented in the company’s growth strategy. Additionally, he worked for the one of the world’s top 3 investment banks in global wealth management. Finally as an entrepreneur himself, John has an extensive background in starting and growing companies, conducting due diligence for acquisitions as well as financing and developing real estate projects.
John is very active in the economic development arena, is a frequent speaker at legal and financial management seminars for small businesses and families. He also serves as a mentor in connection with several programs that are designed to expose middle and high school students to the practice of law and business.
